The Lupa story
Lupa was born from a simple idea:
what if the ritual of a great drink didn’t need alcohol to feel special?
Created by Monique and Søren - a couple shaped by years of travelling, Søren’s Danish roots, and long afternoons spent wandering through Europe - Lupa is inspired by the effortless rhythm of aperitivo hour. The slow fade of the day, and the night ahead unfolding. Small plates. Good company. A drink that sets the tone.
Back home in Matakana, north of Auckland in NZ, that spark evolved into something real. With access to the craft and flavour expertise of 8 Wired Brewing, Lupa was developed with the same care as a premium alcoholic beverage: layered botanicals, natural citrus, bitterness over sweetness, and a clean finish made for sipping. No shortcuts. No imitations. No mocktail energy - just genuinely grown-up drinks.
Lupa is for the mid-week moment, the long lunch, the early dinner, the “I still want to feel part of it” occasions. Ready to pour, beautifully balanced, and designed to elevate the everyday.
Lupa. A new way to drink well.
